Identification with a
personal key
Each member of staff has their own personal key, which enables them
to be automatically identified by the black box system whenever they climb aboard a company
vehicle. The Fleetlog black box vehicle system compiles a separate log of driving data for each
member of staff. This means that there is never any confusion regarding
who was where with which vehicle.
Communication via a GSM or GPRS link
If you opt for a GSM or GPRS link, the journey data is transmitted
automatically, independently of the driver. With ITmobile technology
data transmission is far more efficient than is normally the case
with these kinds of links. This means you realise a considerable saving
on communication costs.
Communication via a RF (radio frequency) modem
Another option is to read out the recorded data of the fleetlog black box via a RF (radio frequency)
modem. The moment the driver drives into your company premises, the
data will be sent to the receiving PC automatically and wirelessly.
In this case you gain from the fact that there are no subscription
or data costs.
Mobile time clock
Each member of staff who climbs aboard a company vehicle logs on with
their personal 'button' or pass. The system then records the date
and time, the mileage/kilometrage on the clock and the location. It
does this again when the member of staff gets out of the vehicle.
So you know the journey time, the time spent on site and the number
miles driven for business and private purposes by each member of staff.

Driving behaviour and accident analysis
With a monitoring system you can speak to your staff about their driving
behaviour with a view to reducing fuel consumption for example. During
the last five minutes of each journey FleetLog® Black Box automatically
records all kinds of information about the behaviour of the car and
the driver. This information can be extremely important if ever there
is an accident.

No two companies are the same. So FleetLog® is a modular system.
If you wish you can monitor the use of a siren or the opening and
closing of a cargo door. If you have vehicles with a crane, FleetLog®
can monitor the use of the crane. This also applies in the case of
unauthorised use or theft. In the latter case FleetLog® will send
a message to your mobile telephone. With FleetLog® you can easily
find out the exact location of the stolen crane so you can retrieve
it. It is also possible to block the ignition.
