“We specialise mainly in upkeep and refurbishment. Our major customers largely consist of housing associations, local councils and businesses in the area. Our people are out on the road everyday and use a total of 18 company vehicles.

We have been using ITmobile's Fieldlog since January. The implementation of new tax legislation relative to private and business mileage made it necessary to log journeys accurately. Fieldlog does this faultlessly, which is very reassuring for my staff.

We used to fill out mileage forms by hand. That was both laborious and time-consuming. Now that everybody has their own personal key, we always know who has driven a vehicle and where he went. Journeys are now logged automatically.

We expect that the investment in Fieldlog will pay for itself quite quickly as my employees are now more productive: they don't have to fill out the mileage sheets anymore. That saves a lot time on an annual basis as we often drive short distances. Additionally, we expect Fieldlog to encourage staff to adhere more strictly to our working hours.

We decided to buy the personal key variant of Fieldlog as there are no monthly charges and we don't actually have to go up to the vehicles to retrieve data. As soon as the vehicles return to our site, the data is automatically retrieved and stored in a dedicated PC. And that was also an important consideration for us.”
