Fieldlog vehicle logging

The Fieldlog on-board computer

  • Power requirement: 150 milliamperes in active mode, 35 milliamperes in stand-by mode. When the ignition switch is turned off, the system switches to the stand-by mode to avoid drawing unnecessary current from the vehicle battery.
  • 12-24 volt supply
  • Separate data logging for the vehicle and for the driver
  • No logging restrictions on the number of drivers that may use the vehicle simultaneously
  • Automatic detection of driver/passenger type: passenger, driver with passengers, solo driver or driver's mate
  • Data communication via RF, GSM or GPRS
  • Communications protocol that guarantees successful data transfer
  • When GSM devices are used, data is send via 'GSM data' and not via SMS
  • Internal battery for data storage back-up: no data is lost when the vehicle battery is disconnected
  • Driver authority check with data communication based on a programmed 'white list' (authorised driver list)
  • Parameters can be set via a data link, allowing you to manage the entire vehicle fleet from a remote location]
